The World around us
A landscape of paths, mountains and places waiting to be discovered begins right outside our door.
Surrounded by apple orchards and nestled in the South Tyrolean landscape, Lana invites you to explore, spend time outdoors and discover the beauty of the region in your own way.
Step by step
Lana begins right outside our door, opening the way to countless paths through the South Tyrolean landscape.
A walk to St. Hippolyt Chapel, a stroll along the Waalwege, or a ride up to Vigiljoch — there is always somewhere to go and something new to discover.
Sometimes the path leads through apple orchards, sometimes higher into the mountains, and sometimes simply to a place where the view stretches a little farther.
And when you are not sure which way to take, just ask us. We know the paths well and are happy to share the walks we love most and the places we return to ourselves.
Stride by stride
There is more than one way to discover the landscape around Lana. On two wheels, paths lead through the apple orchards, along quiet roads and out into the South Tyrolean countryside.
And if you did not bring your own bike, simply borrow one of our four bicycles and set off — wherever the day takes you.
Town by town
From Lana, two very different cities are within easy reach. Merano, with its elegant streets and quiet Mediterranean charm. Bolzano, where mountain landscapes meet a touch of southern flair.
With the South Tyrol Guest Pass, both are easily reached by bus or train. Wander through the streets, stop for a coffee, browse the shops or simply take a little time to enjoy the city — a change of scenery, a little more life, and new impressions along the way.
Bite by bite
There is plenty to discover in the surrounding area when it comes to good food — from traditional inns to special places to eat in Lana, Merano and beyond.
For a coffee along the way, a leisurely lunch or a long evening around the table, we are always happy to share the places we love most and our personal favourites.
